By default, ADSelfService Plus automatically discovers the settings. The first time you log in with an Administrator account, you view these policies. The ADSelfService Plus configuration process is very easy and simple to configure. You can complete the configuration process by following the steps in this article.

Configuration – Policy Configuration
Select OUS / Groups. On this screen, the accounts and groups on which ou should be executed in policy are selected.
ADSelfService Plus multi-factor authentication options determine how end-users will be authenticated. In this section, the method I used is in the form of question and answer. The other two new factory authentication methods will be explained in detail.
Policy selection is made.
The Security Question & Answer section contains the question settings defined by the system administrator and defined by the end user. On this screen, additional questions and answers are defined as how many characters and maximum characters are defined.My suggestion is to define a minimum of 5 questions.
You can define the question in the Edit Questions section.
Password Expiry Notification
Password Expiry Notification section provides users with close e-mail notification of the expiration of the passwords of their active directory accounts.
You must set the SMTP server settings before sending the password alert e-mails. After this configuration, it is appropriate to make the definitions. If the SMTP server is not configured, the feature will not work.
Notify users how many days before they are sent.
This section defines the password policy. If you do not define the policies on the Default domain policy will be defined.
